Would Not RecommendI purchased 2 boxes of these Tapcon 1/4 x 2.75 concrete screw anchors to secure brackets for my fence post to the cement slab. I used the recommended Tapcon 3/16 x 4.5 in Carbide Masonry bit with my hammer drill. I drilled the holes more than 3 inches deep and insured there was no dust remaining in the hole. I used a hex head nut driver in a my battery powered drill to drive the screws in to the concrete. Two of the screws broke before the screw head was within 0.25 inches of the bracket. I also...
