These are great for holding things to concrete, but they can shear off if you torque too much or don’t drill the puppet hole deeper that the length of the screw.

gold standard for screws

These are the standard for concrete or brick screws. You will need to drill a pilot hole first in order to use these effectively, if you don't you end up with a hole that just gets larger. The screws are a pan head with a hexagonal shape so it actually has more grip to drive into the concrete or brick. I would advise getting a couple in case they snap but they are pretty strong and resistant. They come in different lengths but these will easily hold up a picture or box securely to the wall.

Simple and Effective

These screws are perfect for securing fairly sizeable loads into concrete walls. My purpose was to secure a large pegboard into the wall in my basement in order to hang tools for better storage. Getting the screw initially into the concrete was the hardest part. Once they had a chance to grab, they worked perfectly. Simple and effective.

I would highly recommend Tapcon concrete screws for home renovations with concrete and or brick. Very durable. The box is clearly marked the size of the screws.

Great for concrete projects

Great concrete screw, very well made and with high quantity metals. The screws are consistently equal in quality with no deformation amounts screws in a set. Be sure to clean out the hole drilled and do not use hammer screwing when installing screw.

Great concrete screws !

These tap con screws are amazing! I used them to attach wood boards to my concrete wall that allows me to hang up my hand yard tools. They work great and went into the cement with no fuss whatsoever. I highly recommend them for all concrete anchoring needs for small projects. Conveniently packaged in small quantities instead of huge buckets like other brands.

Finally, black masonry screws!!!!

I’ve always loved these Tapcon screws but wondered why they only came in blue. Even though they work well, the blue usually stood out compared to the normal colors of a house. These black ones changed that though. It blends with darker colors better. Also, the screws work well to secure anything into masonry such as brick and concrete. I used them to secure my dryer exhaust vent to my brick. It makes it more aesthetically pleasing than the previous blue screws.

These tap cons are one of the Best Concrete screws ever invented. Once you install these tap cons, nothing’s pulling it out other than a drill. I would recommend these top screws to anyone.

Tapcon screws are always the best. These screws anchor well in brick, mortar, and other masonry materials. They hold and last forever. With the new under-head ribs, these screws should anchor down even better and reduce head snapping.
