What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these masonry drill bits for cutting through concrete, brick, and cinderblock with exceptional ease, often completing 6 to 8 holes per bit. Many highlight strong performance, durability, and carbide construction, with reviewers noting ideal compatibility for Tapcon screws. However, a notable group reports premature dulling or failure after just one or two holes, indicating inconsistent quality. Most emphasize these bits perform optimally only with a hammer drill, and several caution against using standard drills. Despite durability concerns from some users, the majority consider them effective and worthwhile for masonry applications.

Great bit!

Would Recommend

Extremely durable and easy to use bit for an impact driver. I used it to hang my American Flag up in my brick. 10/10 recommend Tapcon!

Doesn't work!

Would Not Recommend

Every time I need to do this kind of work I relearn the stupidity of this product. The drill bit shank is sized appropriately for a 3/16 screw. The tip on the end of the bit is the same size as the screw so the hole is always bigger than the screw and the screw strips out. Dumb!

gets the job done, what else is there

Would Recommend

Product worked well and held up to drilling in concrete. I need to drill holes to install a sump pit cover. I got an hammer drill and then started on the task. The bit held up quite well. I thought I was gonna destroy it but it worked like a champ now I have an extra drill bit for any other related tasks that may come up in the future

Good start, short lifespan

The bit broke after drilling about eight holes. It worked fine on those holes, but once it quit working perfectly, it broke in half.
