This is the perfect product for trimming those hard-to-reach branches. However, the oil required to run the pole saw should be included in the box with the pole saw. It is just another process needed to complete the job. At this time, the project I had planned is now postponed for 2 weeks until I can get the oil required.

Needs better chain

Product is easy to use but chain is a piece of crap. After cutting some 7 or 8 eight branches that were no more than one or two inches thick and a couple of stumps 2 to 3 inches thick the chain was already dull. I have used chain saws all my life and know when a chain is dull. The chain should not be that dull after such light use. If you don't mind sharpening your chain after each use, then the pole saw works as advertised. Otherwise I would go with something else.

Works great, chain needs tightened frequently

This pole saw was easy to assemble and use. Unfortunately, it did NOT come with any oil (although the description on the Lowe's page said it did), but another quick trip to Lowe's took care of that. It worked very well at trimming branches, even thick ones up to 6" or 7" - quick and straight cuts. I had to re-tighten the chain multiple times the first time that I used it (over an hour or so of use). Even then, I couldn't tighten it any further with the tool that they provided or a standard sc...

Amazing!

This pole saw is one of the most amazing saws we've ever used. It's extremely powerful. We've cut limbs off of over 20 trees now and the blade is still just as sharp as it was in the beginning. I'll never buy another brand of pole saw again.

Well made. Assembly instructions easy to follow. It did a good job on both trees.

Great little pole saw

This saw is a champ! It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it from small limbs to some over 5” in diameter. Seems like the chain never gets dull and very seldom does it bind or need adjustment. Just a great little saw.

Good product so far

I have used this pole saw two times so far for a total of about 3 hours. It has performed without any issues and I am completely satisfied. I wished I would have bought one years ago.

Excellent saw for trimming and cutting wood

Works like a charm. Especially the ability to trim branches where you can’t put a ladder.

One of the worst power tools I ever bought

The chain tension mechanism slips relentlessly. This causes the chain to jump the drive teeth and become damaged. Once the drive side of the chain is damaged, it will NOT work. Have to buy a new chain, which will slip and become damaged again. The chainbar oil reservoir also leaks like mad, covering the entire tool in thick sticky oil. The reach is also minimal. You're better off buying a really good extendable hand pole saw.

I used this to trim limbs off the trees so they didn’t rub the house roof. Worked great!
