Pretty good saw

I've used this saw three times so far to cut a few branches off my oak tree, trying to keep the tree size manageable and off my roof. So far it has worked very well. I even had it extended to it's longest length and cut a branch way up there and it worked fine. I do have to cut a big branch, about 6-7 inches in diameter later on, but if it keeps performing as it is I should not have any issues.

Gear wears out

This is a great tool for cutting branches. Used it several times. The only problem is the gear wears out that drives the chain Good product but not very long lasting

Awesome Sun Jie Pole Saw

This Sun Joe pole saw is reliable & easy to use. It's great to get the job done. I'm a single woman in senior years of living, gardening, & thus cutting back the ten oak trees on my property. This pole saw has been the best investment for the property over & over! I can't say enough good about this product.

Was able to put together myself. Excellent limb saw for the price. Lightweight and easy peasy to use. Cuts through limbs super fast.

warranty not honored

Item arrived missing screw for pole extender. Sun Joe declined to send the part. Stated the warranty did not apply. Odd to tussle over a 20 cent part.

Best chainsaw value I have ever had.

I am 66 years old and have owned acreage for 30+ years. I bought one of these corded pole saws after our big ice storm in Texas killed ash trees, etc. This little pole saw is a beast and seems to never need sharpening compared to my gas saws. It was great for trimming up to 5 inch diameter limbs off our house for insurance requirements. We cut :pecan, crepe myrtle, mulberry, live oak, post oak, and hackberry. Convenient Device NEEDS TOOL TO REPLACE SAW BLADE

Not Bad device, A little heavier than I thought it would be but works great But HOW DO YOU REPLACE A SAW BLADE ???? IS there a special tool you can get ????

Basically useless to me.

Basically useless to me. Won't cut 1 1/2" branches without chain continually stopping and motor squealing like a pig.Tension is as described 1/8" I can cut branches quicker with a hand saw.

bar and chain parts

I have been waiting for over 2 mo. for parts (bar and chain)

Cheaper than a tree man

Hint, if made like mine, pry green knob off bar bolt. Take bar bolt off, take sprocket cover off, adjust tension screw so pin goes thru bar. Put some bar oil in goove on bar. You have to buy/supply your own oil. Put chain on. Adjust tension screw and put cover on. Tighten bolt and put green cover on knob. Cuts like a dream. Replacement chain is ten bucks on line. Probably ordering one today.
