Ratings & Reviews for Style Selections 7.8-in D x 35.8-in L MDF Rectangular Shelf Board

Perfect for my shelving need.

Great shelf material.

Worked perfectly for my project. The finish is smooth and durable. Easy to install with wall brackets.

Amazing

It’s as advertised

Perfect shelves

The product and the device I received was excellent

Particle board, not MDF

Yes, it is very inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I purchased to make a monitor shelf on top of my desk. I assumed it was MDF with melamine. Title says MDF, but further descriptions state PB. It is particle board with a white sticker. I placed a mug on top that apparently had a drop or 2 of water on the outside and it visibly swelled an area. After drying out, I can still see and feel a faint area of unevenness. I will let it dry another day or two and then coat it with something ...

Not MDF

Its not MDF but particleboard. Packaging seemed good but several shelves were damaged. Shelves were different shades of white, too noticeable to ignore. At least one shelf is warped. At the very least, I have to order additional shelves to try and color match and/or drive out to a store and try and sort it out. Not sure if I will just return the lot and find a different product or keep going but I'm pretty disappointed right now.
