Weak magnets next to busy road

Got this for my parents new house. They live right next to a US HWY so I wanted them to have a back access to retrieve their mail for safety purposes. It’s a nice looking mailbox they lived, unfortunately due to the closeness to a fairly busy road, the magnets for the doors were not strong enough to keep the box closed on either end forcing my dad to duct tape the doors closed until he could buy and install bigger stronger magnets. Since then the box works fine

Keep Receiving Damaged Boxes!

I’ve gotten 3 damaged mailboxes. All the boxes have deep scratches and gouges in the plastic. Spend your money on a real mailbox.

The first snow of the season, and some drunk driver took out ours and our neighbors' mailboxes. The neighbor picked this mailbox, and because they sit right next to each other, we decided to buy the same one, as it looks a lot better when they match. Thankfully it was easy to install and looks a lot better than the old original Rubbermaid style mailbox we used to have.
