What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this garden soil for exceptional value and plant performance. Most highlight affordability and bulk-buying savings compared to alternatives, with plants thriving in raised beds and vegetable gardens. Many appreciate the included fertilizer and consistent growth results. However, some express confusion about its coarse, wood-based texture, describing it as mulch-like rather than traditional soil. Despite texture concerns, most customers continue purchasing due to strong plant results and low cost. Overall, reviewers recommend it as an effective, budget-friendly option.

This product is basically just mulch. It was not what I would call soil. It was cheap ,so you get what you pay for.

Horrible

Would Not Recommend

Looks more like mulch than soil. planted seeds for herbs, babt basil plants and several flower plants already 4" tall from the nursery, ALL DEAD! Nothing grew. Not 1 survived. I have been doing this for fourty years and never have I had such terrible results.. I missed my return window so I guess I will eat the loss

I am dissapointed with this soil. I had to add nutrients to it for my veggies to grow. Will not buy again.

Way better than Miracle grow

This dirt is pretty great quality compared to miracle grow so I'll use this for the future. The Miracle grow I got earlier has glass, plastic, and 75% wood chips, fungus gnats. I recommend this brand

Buyer beware

Would Not Recommend

Please Please don’t be fooled by advertising on packaging. It is the worst product I’ve ever bought from Lowe’s. Full of wood chips. Ruined my vegetable bed. Turned everything yellow then died. After watering you’ll see all the wood chips come to the surface. Absolutely awful product Don’t be fooled.
