Ratings & Reviews for Square D X Series 15 -Amp 125-volt Tamper Resistant Residential Decorator USB outlet Receptacles , Matte Gray

Works Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does what it is supposed to but very tight fit in the electrical box where the terminals can easily touch the sides and short. Once in place it worked exactly as it should. It’s a good product for the job!

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am probably showing my age by admitting that I've never seen an outlet that included a charging port built in but I haven't so this was a real treat. Now I can charge my phone and it doesn't take up an outlet space..what could be better?

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came in handy while doing some home renovations. I was one socket short in a home office and this outlet has usb plug in for all your devices. Whether pro or amateur gamer, streamer, or work from home this is a game changer in your working space.

USB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the USB ports on this receptacle! Once my husband installed this , I’ve used it every single day to charge my phone and iPad. Highly recommend SquareD and all of their great quality products!

Good quality materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having USB access right there on my wall receptacle, so these are a must. The materials used are good quality and the installation wasn't too bad. They are a bit larger than most receptacles so you may need to replace your outlet box if it is on the smaller or older side. These are 4.8A as well, so they charge everything quite fast.

Sturdy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really shocked at how well made and sturdy this charger is. I've bought others like this before, but this one just seemed much sturdier and better made than any I've used before. It was easy to install and I love the USB ports. Highly recommend!

Simple install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outlet with USB ports is an absolute game changer! I love being able to charge 2 devices and still have something else plugged in! Very simple installation and quite an upgrade. I would hill recommend this to any tech savvy person!

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and the face plate gives a nice clean finish. if using this at a location where you use a mini smart plug, its not possible to use the smart plug and the USB charge connection at the same time. If the manufacturer was able to pivot the USB charger to horizontal this outlet would be even better. Packaging was recyclable so that was a plus.

Love the USB ports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This receptacle with USB ports was easy to install. Works like it should. I like being able to have 2 plugs and 2 USB ports on the same outlet. I no longer need to worry about what I am unplugging to charge my phone. I installed it in my kitchen, no longer unplugging appliances to charge phone.

PERFECT for the remodel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Square D - USB A/A 4.8A CHARGR is perfect for any remodel or to upgrade existing outlets. With everything being charged with USB lately it is nice to be able to plug it straight into the wall without an adapter. If you are handy at DIY you can easily install this in an existing outlet in just a few minutes and some connections and a screwdriver. I would recommend this product.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great way to modernize your house and utilize extra ports for your phone to charge and other devices. I highly recommend anybody who is updating their power socket to look at this brand as it works wonderfully, and I highly recommend it.

Plug with USB charging ports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing came in handy and so easy to install. I like that I’m able to use the plugs for something else other than to charge my phone. Make life easier especially when I need to use multiple USB. I recommend this to those who need the extra plugs for something other than charging your devices.

Makes life easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this product in my living room and I couldn't be happier, not only does it open up my outlets for other electrical things like lamps but my grandson doesn't have to worry about getting shocked when he plugs in the USB

Easy to install and looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older outlet that I had a couple of permanent usb devices plugged into. The push in connection worked great. I like that the screw is actually clamping the wire and not just the instant catch push in connection. The only issue I had was that the ground connector did not allow much space for the wire. I was able to finally unscrew enough to get the ground wire attached. It looks great, as you can see.

Great idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great idea to incorporate a usb port within an electrical receptacle thereby eliminating the need for an actual plug. Square D can always be found on my job sites and now these receptacles will be too.

Love this receptacle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this USB A/A 4.8A duplex receptacle to install, try & review. The installation was quick & easy and the instructions were extremely easy to follow. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. I really love that this receptacle has the added USB charging ports in it as well. It makes it extremely convenient to have something plugged in for use & I can also have my phone USB Cable plugged in as well to charge my phone with out using o...

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got two of these because I'm a tech nerd and thought I would utilize them *somewhere*. I now possess a number. I have changed the regular outlets behind every television so that I, my kids, or visitors may charge their Roku, Firestick, Apple TVs, etc. These are in every bedroom because I want my kids and visitors to be able to recharge their phones at night. I have them in the kitchen and the library to power speakers and other small equipmen...
