Impressed!

Granted, I have never used a spade bit b4, but man these things r somethin'. The tips on these just grab the wood. My advice would b 2 get the bigger set with the pouch. You're gonna like em.

Broke on the first use

First time i used it end broke off. No bieno. Old style i had for years never broke

Spyder Spade Drill Bits priced low, great quality

This 6 piece drill set was a great value compared to similar products. Mowed right through standard lumber, not a hint of wear so far, but that's only a few holes, so....

every single bit broke.

EVery songle bit broke with my M12 milwaukee drill on the high speed setting. I did not use the high torque setting. Every single one broke. I will not buy this again

horrible product

the screw tip point is a disaster waiting to happen. if you don't clamp the wood down, it sucks the piece into the bit. Which then destroys the area around the hole, and possible launches the piece from the drill. I clamped the piece down, and it actually pulled the bit into the wood with the same result. These bits are dangerous and junk. Avoid.

self feed is good, but bent day one

The self feed tip works well, but the bit itself seems a little weak. Twisted the spade after only an hour of use on the 3/4” bit drilling through studs. Still drills a hole but blows the backside out. Went back to diablo brand, hold up much better.

Awsome for the price!

Awesome set for the price, these will probably be the only type of paddle bits I buy from now on!

Stinger

I love these bits. Heavy duty made and at a great price. My favorite part about these bits is the stinger tips. Sharp and make starting the hole easy and fast!

Nice and quick

These bits are great! The self feed tips work really well. They seem to stay sharper than some other brands

Best Spade bit I've ever used

I bought this set to replace an older set that had dulled. This set is amazing. The bit drives itself almost after you start it. Way better than the standard bits.

Not straight

Junk, dont wast your money. Two bit out of a set not straight. You can see it with a naked eye but one they are spinning is obvious.

Great bite and fast hole drilling

Spyder had been my go-to brand for drilling parts. These paddle bits are fantastic. Their "auto-feed" screw tip really make a big difference. Love em over my old standard paddle bits and the price was about $12. Come on... yes, please.
