Good heavens, what screws!
Why does the Spax bit that comes with it suck so badly?
Verified Purchaser
Difficult to start
Would Not RecommendI used three boxes of these screws in 3/8 inch plywood. 80% of the screws required excessive force to start and the suppled T 20 torx bit engaged so poorly they may as well been Phillips heads. The job took twice as long because of these lousy screws.

The driver tip did not fit into the screw head
The provided screw driver tip did not fit correctly into the screw heads which made them hard to install without a collar on the screw tip holder attachment.

Torx, awkward and weak
Torx not easy to work with. And this screw brand brakes easily. I didn't like it at all, but needed mushroom head screws.

Pain to use, Great concept
Would Not RecommendThe main issue is the small torx T20 and that the wafer head pocket is to shallow. The concept is good and thought would be good for metal hangers for hurrican ties. But wasted tons of time due torx slippage in head or strip. would not waste time again on these unless they change the head design
