Would RecommendI used this wire to connect a speaker to the amplifier in our sound system. It was ideal because of it's color and shape. I was able to staple it along the top of the base board and against the white wall. It does not even show.
Extended Extension!
Would RecommendI needed a 22ft black extension cord, and couldn't find one over 12 feet. I purchased this lamp cord, added "male" and "female" ends, and voilá! I feared that it had been so tightly wrapped on the plastic reel that it would take forever to straighten out, but it didn't! Great product!
Rewiring a floor lamp
Would RecommendWe were looking for a clear lamp cord wire and couldn't find it. The only clear cord we could find had gold wire inside. This white worked fine in that Lowe's also had the white plug to match. The cord itself is very sturdy, in that it was difficult to thread the cord through the lamp bends. I loved the convenience of using as much wire as we wanted from the roll.
16-2 lamp cord
Would RecommendIt's wire. It was twenty five feet long like it said. It's wire. The color was off white, not white Just be forewarned. Maybe more of an egg shell than off white. Although when I look at it in the daylight its whiter than I thought. Yes white is an accurate description of this product. And yes, it is twenty five feet long. And it is wire.
Amazing wire
Would RecommendFor the price I was impressed with this wire. Had no trouble handling everything I threw at it. 120v AC, 5 volt DC. Music with its fluctuating voltages, this wire handled it perfectly. No matter what, the electrons flowed at a perfect Fermi velocity of 0.00028 m/s. Can your wire do that? :)
Good product, but did not fit intended use.
Would RecommendWire is fine for most purposes but the insulation was too thick to allow cord to fit in lamps being rewired. Had to return and purchase 18-AWG (clear) lamp cord.
Easy to store
Would RecommendI have several laptop computers that I really wanted to get closer to the center of the room than the supplied cords allowed. This 25' cord did the trick. I put receptacle and plug ends on it and rewound it onto the reel it was supplied with. It kept the cord coiled and neat. Being on the reel keeps it from sliding offf of the shelf, too!

Hey! Wire is wire
Would RecommendThis picture shows the wire spool being held together with a rubber band. Unfortunately my spool was wrapped with clear tape, from top to bottom. When I removed the tape, the outer layer of wire was all sticky from the adhesive on the tape. It took me at least 10 minutes and working with stinky solvents to remove the goop from the wire before I could use it. I would not have bought this product if I had known the hassle it would create.
