I have some which are washable but very expensive, so I wanted something which was washable yet would not break the bank. These fit the description perfectly. My new favorite litter trapping mat!
I am now getting a second one after liking my first purchase. While there is no perfect litter trapping mat, this one comes close. I have tried all types over the years. Also, if used in a tight space, the raised edges are comfortable to step on, and it is easy to pick up and use to dump the extra litter back into the box.

Easy to clean
I like this mat so much better than our last one. It is super easy to shake the excess litter back into the litter box. Unlike our last mat, I don't have to worry about the clumping litter turning into a cement like mixture within the rug if the cat pees on it.
