Ratings & Reviews for SKIL 1/4-in 14 -Amp 2.5 -HP Variable Speed Combo Fixed/Plunge Router

Awesome set up

Easy set up. Love the lights which made for great visibility on what you are routering. The dust collection was great. .

Seems stout

I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but seems like a great tool, I love the lcd screen and setting selections

Great Value

Great Router for 2/3rds the price of a dewalt

Buy this combo pack !!

Very easy to use . This was my first time using a plunge router. Very easy to set up

Great buy and brand

This is my second Skil router. The first one is more than ten years old and still working like a champ. This one is a great combination of features and price. The ergonomics are just right for me. Very stable based both fixed and plunge.

It does the job and more

It might not have the prestige of overpriced brands that start with F, but it does a great job has really useful features and if you take the time to get familiar with it, it will not disappoint. You can’t beat the price either.

Mighty Miter!

Very easy to set up and operate. The LED screen and pre-set speeds were a HUGE help for those of us who don’t use these items everyday. Very clean cuts and a very clean workspace with the vacuum attachment.

Worth the price.

Great entry level router.

I am pleased with my purchase

It is a good, reliable tool. It comes with two bases—a fixed base and a plunge base—which makes this router highly versatile. It also features a digital display for motor speed. Way worse your money

Power, ease to control

Awesome addition to the tool collection

Picked this router up because of its adjustable rpm setting. Formally being a cnc machinist, majority of the time routing bits get worn out quickly by being ran too slow or too fast and this really let me narrow it down depending on the bit types and materials I was routing. The kit comes with a plunge router adapter and a guide rail. The guide rail is a little flimsy but other than that it's an awesome tool.

Best budget friendly router!

The ease of use. It was convenient to fit both 1/4 and 1/2 inch collate since I already had a few router bits for my previous palm router.
