Ratings & Reviews for SKIL PWR CORE 20 20-volt 4.0 -Amp Variable Speed Brushless Cordless Reciprocating Saw ( Battery Included and Charger Included )

What Customers Are Saying
The cordless reciprocating saw offers good performance, cutting efficiently through various materials with less vibration compared to other models. The included battery provides longer-than-expected runtime. However, some users found the saw to be on the heavier side, and the included blade may not be as durable as desired. A small number of customers reported issues with the battery or saw not functioning properly, though these appear to be isolated incidents.

I give 4 stars only because the saw and charger work well, but as for the battery I give it one star. The battery has leaked on several occasions . Black cooling fluid everywhere.

SKIL reciprocating saw gets the job done quickly.
Would RecommendThe SKIL PWR CORE 20 reciprocating saw was just what I needed. I had to cut down nine 4x4 fence posts as close to the ground as possible. The task only took me 45 minutes. I didn't have to re-charge the battery for this task. A great value!

Limited capabilities!
Would Not RecommendLightweight and easy to use. This saw is NOT for big jobs. I’ll keeping it for some light jobs but don’t expect a lot. The battery life is extremely short too. Not really worth what I paid for it.

Good Performance; Good Price
Would RecommendPowerful little(?) saw. It has been able to do everything I've asked of it. As with most recips this size it is a bit heavy when used long-term or overhead. Vibration isn't too bad as I've used far-worse, but it could be a little better - though for the value, I'm not complaining.

Bargain on Quality Tool Kit
Would RecommendThis Kit came with Battery and Charger. I was surprised to see that it came with a 4 Ah battery rather than the normal 2 Ah that many kits come with.

Skil stands behind quality product
Would RecommendGot this saw as part of a kit. The first time I ever used anything Skil was when my father built his house. I was in 6th grade and he taught me to use a skilsaw. I am now well into my 60’s and still using Skil. Now onto the review. The reciprocating saw was part of a kit. It worked great until about three and half years in, it just stopped working out of the blue. I contacted Skil and as advised, took it to an authorized repair shop. About a month later, Skil sent me a brand new saw w/ba...
