What Customers Are Saying
The tool is described as compact, lightweight, and powerful, capable of cutting through various materials like branches, pipes, plastic, and wood. However, some users noted that the battery may drain quickly during larger jobs, and a few experienced issues with the tool stopping working after a short period of use. Comparisons were made to a more powerful 20V version, which was deemed substantially better in terms of performance.

Would RecommendAwesome. Lots of power and run time on a 4ah and even decent on a 2ah battery. Cut a bunch of thick branches a a Jasmine tree with ease. Some were almost 2" in diameter.

Great Skil Tool. Easy 1 handed operation.
Would RecommendGreat little tool. The stroke on it is decent and can cut through tree limbs no problem with a sharp blade. Lightweight & very portable, easy to swap out or install blades. Sad to see Skil leaving Lowe's. They make some amazing tools.

Exceeds expectations
Would RecommendExceeds expectations. Needed to replace my ryobi saw and this way better to control the cuts. Ryobi was awkward.

Great
Would RecommendHave been building our Skil arsenal and this has been a great addition to it. Have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised and realized that I had been missing out on Skil tools. Not to mention that they have insane deals frequently and there would be no reason why not to try one out.

Make sure to get a battery
Would RecommendI didn’t realize there wasn’t a battery included so I’m not able to use it yet but it appears to be easy to use and I like that you don’t need a tool to change the blade
