Would Not RecommendIve used this 5 times. The third time the head broke so the string on one side wouldn’t stay out. I had to constantly open and restring. The 5 time the whole head busted out of the frame. Not worth the trouble.
Easy thread
Lightweight. Innovative easy thread system. Good power. Don't like continuously pressing 2 buttons to keep it running.

Great Lightweight Unit - Gets The Job Done.
Would RecommendI was faced with either buying a new battery and charger for my existing string trimmer or a new Skil unit. I wanted this unit to work since I have 5 other of the Skil PWR 20 hand products (Drill, Circular saw, jig saw, fan and sander) and lots of chargers! I am not disappointed. The unit works well and "tap" string advance is working as well.

When it works
Would RecommendFor the most part the string trimmer is okay. The only problem we have with it is that the motor sometimes cuts out after pulling the trigger to start it and you to continue to keep pulling the trigger to get it to start again. Also, the trimmer is a bit heavier than I would like it to be and is a bit painful to use for any length of time.

Good trimmer for the price
Would RecommendThe trimmer is light weight and a good size. Battery holds a good charge and its fairly easy to install the string. Only bad thing is the "High" setting failed to work after about 2 months.
