Cheap garbage
Would Not RecommendThe foot that holds the blade broke after the 3rd use. Lowes was willing to do a return with a Return Authorization from Skil but Skil wanted to send me the part to fix it myself. When I said I wouldn't, then Skil said I needed to jump through some of their hoops and get an authorization to take it to a technician.

Didn’t even last 5 months until it died
Would Not RecommendPurchased 6/19/24 - loved it until it just died. It hasn’t even been 5 months. Bought it for my husband for our home remodel. Absolutely loved it compared to our older jig saw. Went to use it the other day and it just died. Light turns on but that’s it. I saw other reviews that seem to have the same issue.

Would RecommendReally like this saw. Have a heavy duty dewalt but this is much nicer. The led light right at the blade is great. Light weight, fast and adjustable. My favorite new saw.

heading to return after using for only 1 month
gets very hot, blade doesn't stay in the guide when making curved cuts, has lots of options for changing speed and cut type, also has easy blade installation and bevel/angle adjustment. But all the cons outweigh the pros, especially when it just flat out dies out of nowhere. Used for about 1 month, and today it slowed down and had a very strong burning smell and totally shut off about 3 mins into use. Can't decide to give it another chance with a direct replacement or use it as a credit towar...
