What Customers Are Saying
The Skil 40V leaf blower is a lightweight and powerful cordless option that can effectively clear leaves, debris, and small stones. It offers variable speed settings and charges quickly. However, some users have reported disappointment with the battery life, which may only last 15-20 minutes on a full charge, less than the advertised runtime, especially when using higher power settings. Overall, it appears to be a capable cordless leaf blower for most homeowners, though the battery life may be a consideration.

Would Not RecommendBattery doesn’t last.. even fully charged after a year- can’t finish the job of blow and weed eat- drains quick. Then the replacement battery cost just as much as a brand new blower, charger and battery- does that make any sense… fill the landfill instead of using gas. The battery should be at least 1/2 the price

Aggravating battery problems
Would Not RecommendI bought this thing a few years ago and use it sparingly - mostly to blow leaves out of my gutters. It ran well to start with, but now the battery seems to be going bad. It will run for 20 seconds and stop. Aggravating.

Great Cordless Blower
Would RecommendI was surprised at the power the has. I have used it for lives, cleaning grass shavings off drive and sidewalks and for removing snow from walks and drive. So long as the snow is powdery and not a wet snow I can clear a 2-3 inch snow fall. The variable speed trigger helps enter the battery time.

Not worth it
Would Not RecommendThe battery or tool has already started to fail. After a full charge I get maybe 70% power output.

More powerful than I expected
Would RecommendMore powerful than I expected. It is great for small jobs where it would be too much of a hassle to break out the gas blower. Easy to operate. I'd like the battery to operate a little longer; but, it is sufficient for my arm strength, that is, when I have run the battery down from a full charge, my arm was tired.

Poor battery life with Core 40
I always prefer SKIL over any other brand. Just bought the Core 40 and the battery only last 12-15 minutes, very disappointing.

Love The Blower
I have purchased about 6 of the blowers and the last set I bought the battery didn’t last and now I’m having with my other batteries. I love the brand 3 of the six where gifts but I wonder what is the life of the battery. I do use the product lots.
