Cut the boards to the size specified (or your own), set them in the brackets, screws don't need pilot holes, finish a table in 30 minutes for half the cost. I ordered this and the wood needed online. the 2x4s that were selected for me were perfect. the decking selected was perfect. i looked for any fault i could find in the selections made for me but couldn't find any defect/problem.

Pretty good but a bit expensive.

I used this set (actually 2 of them) to build some shelves for the garage. They work well with one exception: they aren't exactly square and required some flexing/bending to get the boards to line up square. Otherwise, for some easy garage shelves, these were ok.

Sturdy and Quick to Use

These brackets are such a time saver, especially if you don't have alternate joinery. The brackets are very strong and not flimsy. Simpson strong tie is a very reputable brand for products like this. The brackets also came with 100 screws which is very helpful. Although the screws are the best quality and I did break a few, I still used them in the build and I have some left over. The only thing I suggest when using these brackets to use make sure your corners are square. That part too a while...

Great kit for a strong bench

What customers say about this kit is true. Bought this kit in the morning with 4 2x4’s And out the door. Built a 24” x 48” woodworking bench in one day. I couldn’t believe how easy this build is. Being 72 I know I don’t have too many years to enjoy woodworking, but i like to make small boxes and such. I don’t want to build big items anymore. This bench is rock solid. No racking - no rocking If you want to build a quick and easy bench pick this kit.

Garage Shelving

I used these to fast-track my own garage shelving project. Using two of these kits, I built two shelving units wide enough that I can park the hood of my car underneath them. Easy project.
