Work bench / shelving kit

I purchased for two reasons one the brand name and the ability to make work bench or shelves I grabbed two kits.

Brackets were well made and fit perfectly. Needed instruction booklet as well as additional screws for plywood shelves.

Nice little workbench kit

A simple kit that worked well to make a workbench. Was sturdy enough for me to jump and sit on with me being 200lbs, no wiggile or looseness. May add a center support for the top but that may be overkill. I did not do the back pegboard I bought (1) kit, (10) 2"×4"×4' (1) 23/32-in x 4-ft x 4-ft

A returned product sold as new

Got home, I went to take the picked-up boxes out of the car, and noticed the noise... sounded like everything was running loose inside the boxes... didn't think anything of it and then looked at the boxes themselves... could tell they had been retaped and a bit beatup. opened both boxes and they had been returned back to the store...the wrapping that was supposed to secure the braces was scrunched up in the bottom corner of the box and the screws were thrown loose into the bottom of the box and ...

It was very easy to put together! Everything provided made a great sturdy bench!

Great project for kids!

For those who have few tools, this is a great product to build a workbench or shelves. Go online and check out Simpson’s variations of the basic design. Buy the kit(s) instead of the screws and brackets separately as the brackets are twice as much when buying off the shelf.

Surprisingly small box for a complete kit (sans wood). Would have appreciated actual instructions for assembling, instead of a QR code

I like the fact that every hardware component for this project is included, in the box. Simply add lumber, plywood, pegboard and your own "elbow-grease" in order to complete the workbench project.
