horrible experience

The product was shipped in a Fed ex box with not accessories or paper work. I can almost guarantee it was refurbed. When I called Lowes to ask for the missing parts, they told me it was not their concern, and I should call the manufacturer, and by the way the return period is only two days even though id did not receive a satisfactory product. Update Review

I wrote a review recently but not on the machine itself but rather on the opening of the box and to register to get the extra nozzles. Today is my first real review after about 8 hrs of usage. The machine was very strong and start up right away. On the 8 hrs , there are a couple 4 minutes stops. The triple axial pump was rated to be the best out there. Overall, the machine is good and should be dependable for the next 10 yrs.

Easy to set up

Easy to set up. I had a little trouble getting the engine to start but once I turned one of the little levers it started right up. Still testing it out. I definitely bought for the Honda engine

Reliable

Well I purchased a Westinghouse pressure washer had to return it for failure to be reliable starting very disappointing. I just purchased a Simpson with the Honda engine nice to see a unit to match what the company says on ease of starting cold or warm two pulls and machine starts.

Damaged on arrival

Threads would not thread onto high pressure hose out of the box and Lowe’s won’t take it back or exchange. Do not buy.

Shipping Issues: Damaged Out of Box (w/FU)

While this pressure washer unit is one of the finest on the market containing a Honda GX engine, the fact that it arrived with severe damage to the exhaust housing is inexcusable, rendering the unit unusable right out of the box. It appears the pressure washer was dropped shipped directly from the Simpson factory in Wisconsin to the Lowe's here in San Antonio via FedEx. Happy with purchase

Purchased this product based on the reviews. Completely satisfied with the purchase. Good tradeoff between cost and what you get. Used to pressure wash a paver driveway. Fairly compact and suitable for storage in garage metal storage racks.

Simpson 3400 washer w/ CAT pump

My local Lowes didn't have this washer in stock, so the manager ordered it for me and it came to my house. Pros: The CAT pump is the best on the market, and easy to repair. It is hard to find a washer with a CAT pump because it is not a play and throwaway pump. Cons: The Honda GX200 is not the engine we grew to love. Honda bought out TTI in Thailand. Lots of power.

It's been good until recently when I was washing our cars and shut it off to move the cars to wash the second car and it would not start again.

No pressure

Can’t get it to build pressure. Followed the limited instructions to the point. Runs fine but can’t build spray pressure

poor customer service, warranties worthless

They refuse warranty claims 90% of the time and their so called service centers are either non existent or refuse to work on Simpson equipment, Pumps are unreliable,
