Worst Pressure washer I have ever bought

Bought this almost a yeear ago and used it once. Went to use it again last sunday and it wont stay started. Changed the gas, added oil and it still wont start. Now the cord won't eve worki when I pull on it to try to start it.

Powerful

Used this model for a few years, works well and has been very reliable. Just an FYI I only use 100% gas, not the ethanol stuff, gives you the best chance at performance

Thermal Relief Valve Sucks

This pressure washer worked great! So, why the 1 star rating? The thermal relief valve went bad on one use. I bought the pressure washer, used it once, put it in my basement for spring use. Today, I got it out, started it up and water immediately started shooting out of the thermal relief valve. It wasn't doing this when it was within the 90-day warranty, and I didn't use it since then. Lame

MSH3125 with Honda motor.

I was impressed with the quality of the unit. The power and the various spray heads should meet all my residential needs. Initially I had a problem with the pump pressure cycling on and off. Contacted Simpson and they ask me to check the pump inlet screen filter. I checked and the screen filter was about 30% blocked. I clean the screen filter with a toothbrush. That solved the problem. Tech support said that’s typical when using city water. After that the unit worked behind my expectations.

Fluctuating water pressure while operating Not a smooth running engine

Standout tool for a homeowner.

Best pressure washer I've owned. The Honda engine is easy to start. The 3100 PSI is just right for a homeowner. Adding a turbo nozzle I was able to dig post holes for a stair rail in 15 minutes. A round sweep accessory makes sidewalk cleaning go much faster.

Issues a year and a couple weeks from purchase

Had major issues just over one year from purchase (of course) and had to buy parts and repair. Given the high price and that I only use it once, maybe twice a season, the 1 year warranty isn't very helpful.

So far this washer has lived up to expectations as fuss free and dependable . At the top end of the residential range. Delivery was fine. In my research of reviews no-one, including various buyers guides, mentioned the key difference between this Honda powered washer and the other gas models at around this price point. This engine has a governor auto-throttle while all the others have manual throttles. Whether that makes a difference to you probably depends on the main use. If you will be stand...

THE WHEEL FELL OFF When I received the washer, it was in less than good condition. 90 % of the information stickers were falling off, I had to re-glue the stickers to ensure they would stay in place. the axel on one side is defective, the C-clip will not stay in place and the wheel keeps falling off. I had to drill a hole in the axel and insert a pin to keep the wheel on. I am disappointed in the fit and finish. when I attempted to get a new axel that proved difficult.
