Ratings & Reviews for SIMPSON 2.4 GPM MegaShot 3000.0-PSI 2.4-GPM Cold Water Gas Pressure washer with 4.0 Spray Tips

Poor model

Won’t run consistently. Wish I never bought this model.

Leaking soap tank.

the washer arrived with a leaking soap tank, I contacted Simpson and was told the tank was on back order and would be delivered May 29, 24. The tank did not arrived. Contacted Simpson again and was told the tank was on backorder and it was unknown if it was available. Then it was suggested I could use the pressure washer without the soap tank or I could purchase one myself. During the same period I sent an email detailing the leaking saop tank to Simpson's customer service per its website, ...

First time Simpson buyer.

Power washer works well. The floor sprayer took a little time to operate effectively. After some use, it works great. Maybe needed time to break in. Overall pleased with the unit.

Surface cleaner worked quite well.

Worked as expected, the machine did a great job. The detergent tank and sprayer nozzle worked well. Plenty of power for cement. I used the surface cleaner on the driveway and paver patio and walkways. It really cleaned everything up nice. It removed small areas of polymuric sand but can easily be touched up.

It was not available in store but arrived quick.

The presser washer arrived on time and was packaged very well and in perfect condition. I have only used it once since I received it and it worked as it was supposed to. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great Power Washer

Flawless operation, easy assembly, and very powerful. Started on first pull out the box and ran flawlessly for two hours start.

Pressure washer broke after using it two times.

arrived earlier than scheduled. it looks steardy, haven't used yet.

missing parts

missing the metal wand and the 25ft hose. was informed by employee to call Simpson in regards to the missing parts. no effort from lowes to remedy the situation.

Great For Homeowners

Used once so far and worked great! Really enjoy the flat surface cleaner! It’s a big timesaver! Definitely makes cleaning more enjoyable. Was a no-brainer for the package deal. Is more than enough for my application. Definitely recommended!

Best Power Washer ever

This is a great power washer. No bells or whistles but it starts easy, has lots of power, has a great motor and pump, and this thing will last forever. My last one was over 20 years old and ran like brand new. It would have lasted forever except that I had an unrelated water issue that destroyed the pump. Thank goodness it is still being made. I love this unit for anything around the house. I highly recommend the MS60805 Power Washer.

DIY Pressure Washer

Does a great job for cleaning siding, concrete walkways and driveways. Starts up after 2nd pull, no problems there. Surface cleaner works very well.

Good, not great...dissappointed

Somewhat disappointed. The presure washer works well, although pressure seems inconsistant. The Surface Cleaner bristles wore out the first day I used and it did not clean my driveway well. I also purchased the turbo nossle which works well.

Oill Leak

I was able to use this one time and noticed an oil leak after I finished using it (left a stain on the patio).  I contacted Simpson and was told they can't troubleshoot oil leaks and I was sent to a repair shop.  It was a local shop, but they clearly didn't have any interest in me being there and couldn't give me a time frame for repair.  They've had it for a week now and no updates.  Based on this, I wouldn't recommend the product.

Highly Recommended

This is a powerful pressure washer that was highly rated by several rating agencies. It was a great price and works well to clean my concrete walkways and driveway. Used at the lower settings, it did a great job on cleaning house siding and my deck as well. I highly recommend.

do not purchase

Bought this in 2020 for home use only. The pump went out in 2022 and was replaced under warranty. Used twice at home in 2022. Used it for 3 hrs spring of 2023 and the pump went out again. This time it was not covered by a warranty and to have it repaired was going to cost $280.00. Needless to say I did not pay to have it repaired. Do not buy a Simpson pressure washer.

Pleasant surprise - Simpson pressure washer

Couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this pressure washer. The cleaning disk was a pleasant surprise, it cut down my driveway/sidewalk cleaning time by at least half. The attached soap dispenser worked great.

Honda engine wouldn't start out of box

This combo pressure washer/surface cleaner looks great, but after assembly the Honda engine wouldn't start. Returned to store for refund and ordered a replacement, which will hopefully work as it should.
