Ratings & Reviews for SIMPSON Aluminum, HONDA GX390 Engine 4200-PSI 4-GPM Cold Water Gas Pressure washer with 5 Spray Tips
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pressure washer for its exceptional 4200 PSI and 4 GPM power, reliable Honda engine, and durable CAT pump. Reviewers consistently describe it as a powerful workhorse delivering professional-grade cleaning on driveways, concrete, and decks, with many noting it far surpasses their previous 3000 PSI models. The Honda engine starts reliably on the first pull and runs quietly, while the CAT pump resists wear effectively. Users appreciate the aluminum frame's rust resistance and solid construction. Most find it easy to start, assemble, and operate, with phrases like "worth every penny" and "last pressure washer I'll ever need" reflecting deep satisfaction. A few report isolated concerns, though nearly all consider this the gold standard they've been seeking.

Very high pressure and volume. Only issue is if the water is turned on before starting it will stop the motor from turning over

Definitely commercial quality
I just bought it. Exited to use it today. I know I won't be disappointed in comparison to cheaper pressure washers I have used in the past. Can't go wrong with a Honda motor.

Holy cow - what a beast!
My old yellow pressure washer gave up the ghost, so I was in the market for a new one. It was this or the yellow one, both with the same Honda engine. I’m so glad I went with this Simpson. The pressure is incredible! I can’t wait to put this beast to work pressure washing my house, deck and driveway! Unit was well packaged on a skid, and I’m happy to report there was no damage to anything. Nice job Simpson!

Easy to use
Power washer was pretty much assembled other than a handle. Hopefully this one runs longer than my last one did.

ALH4240 is a serious machine
I purchased my ALH4240 pressure washer with Honda motor and CAT pump and it has not disappointed me yet. This has plenty of psi and GPM for the small cleaning jobs that i perform for neighbors. Probably overkill of a machine for me, but i wanted a true pressure washer that I could use for years to come and to pass along to my son. I was using a Karcher 2.5 gpm 2400 psi machine for years, but wanted a larger machine to allow me to upgrade to a bigger spinner wheel and perform bigger jobs. Pac...

Best pressure washer made
Well built machine, extremely durable, user friendly and very light. With the aircraft aluminum, it makes this machine easy to maneuver and keeps the frame and body from rusting. Also, the cat pumps are indestructible , highly recommend to spend the extra penny for a machine like this and not go with an AAA triplex pump that only lasts 30-60 hours on average.
