This touch less garbage can has been so helpful in the kitchen! The sensor isn’t too sensitive but it’s perfect for when you have a handful of dripping eggshells that you need to throw away. It’s so nice to wave your hand over to open and completely eliminates having to touch the can and getting it gross in order to throw things away. Great trash can!
It looks great with the rest of my brushed stainless appliances, and it functions great, as well. The lid is much quieter than the former generation, too. I had my prior SH can for 15+ years, so this product lasts a long time. Very pleased!

Warranted item
My semi round trashcan stopped working. It didn’t matter how many batteries were replaced. The motion sensor for the lid would not work, so I called Simply human It was within its five-year warranty. And they replaced it for a charge.

45L semi round sensor can
I love my 45L semi round sensor trash can. When it broke I found out that it had a 5 year warranty and got a replacement free and super fast. There is bag storage, odor fobs and heavy duty trash liners. I wouldn’t have any other can than this.

Fun Simple Human Touchless Can
Absolutely love the sensor can. We cook quite a bit; easy access to the can via the sensor style has made cleanup a joy. Why? Eliminating manually opening a lid is one less repetitive action and that makes a difference. The can STAYS CLEAN. No foot pedal to clean. We do not like the replacement bag opening because it can allow odors to escape; the scented stick ons exacerbated that issue. We eliminated the stick on and the issue was much better. Beautiful and easy to use!
This trashcan, with the sensor, looks nice and is so easy to use when you have your hands full! I can’t recommend it enough. My last simple human trashcan lasted more than 20 years and it definitely has more life left in it – it was just time for one that was in dented and now had the sensor in it. Love, simple human products!

Might seem strange to say
Might seem strange to say that you “love“ your trashcan, but we do. When your hands are full or messy and you don’t wanna touch anything, it’s great to have the sensor opening the lid. Also, the bags fit perfectly inside, never a mess nor a bad odor. This is the third one we’ve purchased?
