Did not disappoint!. I also bought the matching compost bin. I really wanted the larger 40/40 model, but I didn’t have enough space for it. I love that the lid opens easily and stays open for everyday use. When guests come over, I can simply close it, and it seals nicely to keep everything out of sight. So far, I have no complaints. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Sensor Model Didn't Last, Trying the Stepper Version
I purchased the same 58L trash can with the motion sensor about three years ago. While the trash can itself has held up well, the sensor no longer works effectively. I recently purchased the newer 58L model with the step pedal instead of the sensor. Overall, I find these trash cans to be durable and well-made. I'm hopeful that the step pedal model will provide better long-term reliability, but only time will tell how it holds up.

Defective product, useless warranty
Would Not RecommendI am so disappointed in this brand. A plastic component of the stainless steel stay open lid broke within a couple months of normal use. No problem - it has a 10 year warranty, right? Wrong! After about a month of trying to get a response from their warranty department, I was given a generic rejection stating that the warranty does not cover this type of damage, despite the warranty clearly stating that it covers failures during normal household use.
