Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman Semi-Round Liner Rim Can, 45 Liter Matte Black Steel Commercial Indoor Kitchen Step Trash Can

Outstanding!

This is an exceptional bin: the design is sleek and clean and the performance, impeccable. The liners fit precisely and the foot pedal is responsive and allows the lid to close in slow motion, quite delightfully. It seems ludicrous to be this impressed by a trash receptacle, but Simplehuman has designed one worthy of high praise indeed!

My Second Simplehuman can

This is my second Simplehuman can. I've had my original one for years. I just wish this version had a latch to prop open the lid like my other one. The custom liners work great.

Excellent, smooth, and sturdy

I absolutely love my Simplehuman 45L Semi-Round Step Can with Liner Rim! From the moment I set it up, it felt like such a sleek and well-designed upgrade to my kitchen. The build quality is excellent, the step pedal is smooth and sturdy, and it closes quietly every single time. It really feels like a premium product. My favorite feature is the wide mouth — it makes trash disposal so much easier. No more awkward angles or worrying about missing the opening when scraping plates. Everything goes i...

I had the round simplehuman

I had the round simplehuman can with a full liner. I enjoyed the design of that one much more. The half round only has a liner rim, so if the there is a leak there will be a mess. I wish you still sold it with a full liner.

Great improvement!

I LOVE this Step Can! I like the liner rim and self closing lid!

45L Semi-Round Step Can

Very well made step can that adds a great look to a smaller kitchen.

45L Semi-Round Step Can

I love it, it was a great replacement for the other can I had.

LOVE!

This trash can is pricey but worth it! I love how the bag is tucked under with a separate lid than the one that lifts with the step. The step is sturdy and so far no finger prints are showing. I bought a cheaper can hoping to save some money and the step broke within the first couple weeks, lesson learned. Simplehuman is worth the splurge.

Love this can and the

Love this can and the shape. I also love the black.

Very high quality!

This is the best quality wastebasket we've had. Every part seems built to last. Our last stepcan only last a year. We expect years of service from this one.

Great product

This is not my first trash can from them. I never had an issue with the last one. Just replacing the last one because I’m moving and want a new one.

Semi-Circle Trash Can

I had my last Simple Human can over 10 years. I love the improvements the company has made since then. They got rid of the insert and now I can put the trash bag directly into the can, instead of the insert and then having to lift the insert into the can. They also upgraded to a slightly larger can. My last can was 40L and my new one is 45L. I am more than pleased with my purchase. I have purchased many products from this company and have been impressed with their quality.

Can

I like the new shape, but miss the plastic insert that I had on the rectangle can I first bought. I’m glad it uses the J bag. My first simple human can lasted about 10 years. I hope this one will last the same

High quality

Finally replaced my 20 year old Simplehuman kitchen trash when the foot pedal finally gave out. I ordered the 45L Semi-Round Step Can with liner rim. . Delivery was fast and trash can did not have any dents or blemishes. It works great with my big box store scented 13 gallon heavy duty trash bags. The trash can also came with 10 custom fit liners. Very happy with my purchase and will purchase a bathroom trash can soon, even though my Simplehuman can is still functional after 20 years.

The can seems to have quality construction and operates smoothly and it looks good.
