I have used Simplehuman trash cans in my kithen for over 20 years. Old one was still in great shape but wanted a change and purchased a new one. Sturdy and reliable and clean.

I purchased this after my previous simple human trash can that was 8 years old broke. The foot peddle on the old one finally stopped working and the pink coloring of the stainless steel was wearing off. This one seems to be just as good and I like the odor control air freshener that it has. Let’s hope this one lasts just as long! It looks like there are less crevices for crumbs to accumulate on this newer model too.

I have not purchased a Simple Human trash can since their first year and, while I was happy back then, I really appreciate the updates such as the way a liner is now inserted and also the hidden holder for new liners.
