love the sleek and slim design, fits my small kitchen perfectly. very quiet closing of lid. however, despite the rest of the sturdy metal design of the trash can, the hinge is plastic and extremely fragile. it broke with minimal force and has had to be replaced twice in 3 months. i’m extra extra careful now when lifting up the whole lid to replace the liner, but disappointed with the experience and quality given that it’s not a cheap trash can.

Slim and elegant
This elegant step can fits perfectly into a small space in my kitchen. Although slim, it is a large capacity can and is quiet when stepped on.

Replacement for broken can
Excellent product we use hard every day and they stand by their product and replaced our defective can after 56 years of service.

Easy to deep clean the inside
In the past designs, it has been exceedingly difficult to clean around all the nooks and crannies and that has all but been taken away with a seamless canister

Replacement trash can
We had our old Simple Human trash can for MANY years. We replaced it with a similar updated version. The old one squeaked but this one is silent!
