Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman Semi-Round Liner Rim Can, 45 Liter Brushed Steel Commercial Indoor Kitchen Step Trash Can

Love out Step Up Can

We get compliments on the can all the time. When it broke the 10 year warranty worked perfectly. So we’re happy with your product & look forward to buying other items in the future.

Nice trash can

Sleek looking, hides most of non Simple Human trash bag. Moves a little when opening but not a big deal.

Structurally Sound and quiet

I love the structure and durability overall but I don’t like the size on the inside of the can. The shape on the outside is eye pleasing, but it makes the inside of the can too small. Lowe’s did not have one out of the box for me to look at and had I’ve been able to look at it on display I probably wouldn’t have bought it. For the price, I don’t feel that I got my moneys worth and I am considering taking it back now that I’ve had an opportunity to use it.

Excellent engineering advance above those

Excellent engineering advance above those in the 20 year-old version it replaced.

Sturdy great size

Very Happy with this trash can

Pretty good, but could be better…

I have the rectangular version which has built-in storage for the liners/trash bags. This version doesn’t have bag storage built-in, but has plenty of room for that capability. Kind of odd they opted to not do that. As always though, a solid rubbish bin.

Fits in with my kitchen

It does what it should

Absolutely perfect purchase

I bought a damaged stainess steel one at a Bargain Hunt, and it worked flawlessly, but the Black finish is beautiful! The soft close lid is awesome and it looks so good in my black and white kitchen!

45L Semi-Round Step Can and Code J Liners

This is a great product line and we are enjoying it so far very much!

Just like the one I

Just like the one I have had for over 20 years, I like this one just as well. I gave my original can(in perfect condition) to my mother.

Quality stands out.

Previous unit we replaced lasted ten years until both lid hinges gave out. One improvement I would suggest is that the unit be designed such that the lid hinges would be located internally. In this way the unit could stand closer to the back wall. Currently there is ~ 2 inches of "wasted space" behind the base of this unit.

Great But…. .

It’s a nice product. Everything you’ve come to expect from you. I WISH it had a stay open feature. There are times we all need the lid to remain open to throw stuff away. Options are always better. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. ⭐️
