Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman Semi-Round Liner Rim Can, 60 Liter Brushed Steel Commercial Indoor Kitchen Step Trash Can

In love with a trashcan? Yes!

For a few years now, I’ve wanted a second simplehuman trashcan for the recycling. The first simplehuman I bought more than 15 years ago is still going strong, but it needed a sidekick. I have been so excited about receiving this that my husband and son sent a picture when it arrived, and I was out of town. When I got home, I could not have been more pleased. I LOVE that it can sit flush to the wall or cabinet and open without dinging the lid! My first SH does not have that feature. This one has ...

So far so good

This is our second Simple Human trash can. Our first one is still in decent shape just old (13 years) and used. We moved it to the laundry room, since it's still functional. We upgraded to the 60 L this time. It's a nice looking, functional can. In fact, regular store bought trash bags, ( we use Hefty Ultra strong) fit fantastic. I'm pleased. The real test will be if it lasts 13 years like our other one. LOL

Simple human, the best trash cans!

Very nice looking and functional trash can! Sturdy, too!

5 stars

You know you’ve reached peak adulthood when your husband exclaims, “this new trash can is awesome!!!” I completely agree with him. This is a very satisfying product.

Great 60 liter can

Our old one broke after many years of service. When we started looking for a new trash can we needed a larger one and this was the biggest one simplehuman has and it’s been great. We now only need to take out the trash Onece a day and not three times per day.

nice waste receptacle

Well made, sturdy, and easy to use. I like how there is a compartment inside the unit to put in the odor elimination pads or whatever they are called.

Love this

We had another model but this one is the best. Nice to know that simple human stands by its products. I can highly recommend them and will stick with them. High quality products.

Bigger / Like All Stainless Look

Again, we have had a few of these. This one is bigger and all stainless look. The foot pedal you do have to push on pretty hard compared to our others. Hopefully the plastic lever doesn't break. We hate that this model doesn't have the plastic can insert you can remove in and out. One Leaky bag and you have to take the entire thing outside and clean it out. Much easier to remove the Plastic liner like our others. I overlooked this somehow on my research i guess.

The liner cover edge tears full bags

Well, near as I can tell I’m using this can correctly, and every time I remove a full trash bag from the bin it hangs on the liner rim and I end up with a torn bag of trash. Ain’t no way to avoid it. If the liner rim would open up in tandem with the lid (as my cheap old plastic can allowed) this wouldn’t be an issue and the nice lookin’ can would be a winner. Unfortunately it doesn’t, and it isn’t. Thoughts? Feedback? Any obscure trash can operational details I’m missing? Anyway, it’s only a tra...

I love this trash can. It holds a lot, looks great and is easy to use.
