No bag storage
It was a nice trash can but didn’t have bag storage in the can like my last one, so I returned it. Definitely a step backwards.

Best trash can for dog lovers!
Was recommended to me for a can that no dog could get into. We have found this to be true. The price is well worth the aid in stopping a repeated bad behavior in a home with 4 dogs and often many foster pups.

love it
I purchased the smaller butterfly step can 19 yrs ago, it's still going strong and looks great. I went to my sister's and noticed her 45l dual compartment step can. It was exactly what I needed, it's perfect for our kitchen functionality.

Perfect full sized can in a tight space
I live full time in my fifth wheel RV and have limited space. This can fits perfectly in my small space, and the butterfly opening keeps the overall height below the edge of my cabinets.

I had the same model
I had the same model for 20 years and always worked well. It was a heavy and very good quality. Many years ago, one hinge was broken, I notified Simplehuman and they replaced it for me free. I was really touched. The 2nd one worked well until recently The door wasn’t closed properly. I thought it was broken. That was why I purchased a new one. Later. I found out there was nothing wrong with the door it was me who used force and damaged the opening. The new one is much lighter than the old one. N...

Dented butterfly step can
The butterfly step can arrived with a dent in the back. None of the packaging was damaged. So it seems the damage happened before it was shipped. Love it, but the dent is disappointing.

Fits Under Counter
We needed a trash can to go at the end of our counter. Wanted it to sit flush against cabinet and not hit counter top or cabinet when opened. This is the only one we found that would fit. Works as expected. Quiet.

Awesome Garbage Can
We love this can! It's an upgraded version of a previous simplehuman can we had, and we really like the butterfly open style and love that the interior can pulls out easily. Worth the expense!
