No good in salt environments
Would Not RecommendI installed these a couple of years ago and added new GFI outlets at my seaside home. The covers are now corroding and the GFI does not work. Probably need to use plastic.
Weatherproof but opens sideways.
Okay, it's pretty weatherproof but we wanted one the same color that opened differently. I've seen them but could not find them at Lowe's. Since there are two on same porch we bought this one to match color of one bought previously.
