High expectations, disappointment in reality
For the same price there are better options in the market in terms of audio quality. Poor sound, especially with the bass. This model isn't even supported by the app. The only advantage: It allows you to stay aware of your surroundings, which is useful on the street and at work, and has adequate sound quality for phone calls, but is otherwise nothing special.

Great feel but I need a standard USB charger
Great feel and functionality, but needing a propriety charging cable is a HUGE problem. I get that it probably helps with the water and sweat resistance, but I would much rather risk some damage than have to carry around my ONE charger wherever I go.

Exactly what I wanted
These are not high-fi headphones. These are perfect for riding my bike 40+miles and enjoying music, podcasts, and audiobooks while still being aware of the environment.

Mostly Great
The sound is excellent, and not having something in my ear while running is great. The issue I'm having is that Siri does not hear me through these headphones, and also for some reason none of my usual notifications (WhatsApp, Messages, etc) come through while I'm wearing them. So I like them, but these issues keep me from LOVING them.

Fails right after warranty
Received my headphones a Christmas gift 2. 5 years ago. Started turning themselves on and off at random 2 months ago. A few weeks ago they failed to turn on and no longer accept a charge. I see no physical damage, and the actual battery life still seemed long enough, so I don't know why they would fail. As my family's attempt to get me out of wired headphones, this has done badly. They also make my teeth buzz.

I’ve used so many other wireless ear buds. Some in ear some over the ear etc, etc! Shokz open runs have to be the best by far! I can power these up and they’ll almost instantly connect to my phone(others have not had the same success) I never lose connection with them mid run either! Which is a big pet peeve for me! They are comfortable and stay in place while jogging or biking. However, because they don't actually fit inside the ear, they're just not loud enough. If you are sitting at home in your living room, they're fine. But if you're out on the street jogging--much less biking--it's hard to hear what's playing, especially a book or podcast. Will never go back to in-ear headphones while running after Shokz. Being able to listen to music or podcasts while hearing my surroundings is so important, and these have always been comfortable.
