Loved it until drawer wouldn’t open

This microwave was part of a kitchen remodel and fit the space/purpose perfectly. I liked being able to carefully lift hot items out of the microwave at a lower level rather than reaching higher. Always a concern about accidentally spilling hot food on myself. Then the drawer would occasionally stick. Now it won’t open at all. Horrible Smell - Sharp Won't Help

I bought this microwave expecting a lot for the price. The unit has an electrical/plastic burning smell that makes my family and I not even want to use it. Upon contacting Sharp support they told me to boil some lemons in the microwave which I did, and it didn't help at all. They told me the smell would wear off over time and that it is just factory electrical grease burning or something, but it hasn't gotten the slightest bit better after several months. Drawer microwave

Had good customer ratings and overall ratings

No bells & whistles but it works well

There isn't any hi tech features but it does what it is supposed to do. I like having a microwave drawer at a lower level. I like the size. Only real negative is it is not very quiet when it opens and closes like a regular microwave.

Stay Away. Faulty Wiring and Control Panel

Control Panel stopped working after 18 mo. Many others have had the same issue. No help from Sharp. Expect better quality from such an expensive product. Would avoid Sharp generally and this microwave specifically.

Great looking, poor heating

We like having a microwave in the island and the angled touchpad, but it just heats unevenly. Our food is usually left with cold spots, and yes the power level is set to high. Maybe because it lacks a turn-table?

Total piece of crap

It stopped working / heating food in the first 12 months. Sharps response, go trip the breaker in your house to resolve. Which works for a week but is incredulous. Don’t but this junk. Ever.

Not good experience. Microwave came as a used product and the response from your store was I should bring it back to another Lowe’s to return and reorder. Not sure why it should be my problem to return to store when I payed for delivery.

already misaligned, cheaply made, makes big nose while closing. Overly priced!

Love this microwave

It took some getting used to having the slide out drawer style microwave however we love it and it functions perfectly.

Great purchase

The perfect microwave for under the counter. Easy install as well. Measure your cabinet though, this microwave comes in 24 and 30 inch.
