What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this tool for simplifying SharkBite fitting removal compared to included plastic alternatives. Reviewers highlight that it requires less hand strength, enables one-handed operation in tight spaces, and saves time and frustration. Many emphasize it's compact, portable, and easy to store. A small number report difficulty squeezing the tool or note it doesn't work on all fitting types, though most still consider it a worthwhile upgrade. OK release tool, expensive.
Would Not RecommendOverpriced release tool for SharkBite
Might Work for 1/2” and below, but not for 1”.
Would Not RecommendIt bent as I was trying to remove previously installed sharkbite 1” fittings. Being a retired engineer, the steel in the tool was not hard enough to squeeze the collar to release the grips in the fittings! I love sharkbite fittings, but their removal tools need much improvement!
Great tool

Does not work even as good as the plastic slide.
Would Not RecommendEasy to use.
Would RecommendThis is easier to use to remove Sharkbite fittings than the little orange rings. Simply fit on and squeeze. Works great!
