Hose explosion - room soaked - day lost - sadness
Would Not RecommendI connected my new water heater with flex lines for the first time with these connectors in 2015. In 2017 we had a hose burst spraying an entire utility room down with water. Just yesterday Aug 3, 2018. I had the second hose explode doing the same - once again destroying all the drop ceiling in the room, flooding the floor, ruining sheetrock, soaking tubs and tubs of clothing. Never ...ever.. again. My advice, do not use braided lines for Hot water. A solid pipe is the only way to go.
