Would Recommendas someone who has their first home, sharkbite or push to connect has helped me learn so much about fixing pipes on my own when a plumbing company wanted to overcharge me for a repair so with startup costs for the cutters, pipe threader, the bits, the PEX piping and such i spent maybe 250 or 300 tops and 80 dollars or so was first time expenses so only cost maybe 120 it so to fix it myself. I'm proud of myself. 😁

Would Not RecommendI had my plumber use it for the busted pipe during the 2021 texas freezing weather. Today, Jan 17th, 2024 it has given up.

Would RecommendI used this to transition from copper to pex. The trick seems to be to cut your pipe as straight/square as possible and deburr before pushing into the coupling.

Had a burst pipe in December. So alot of very cold showers later, found the solution. And a far better job than the plumber. Three leaks cost a grand. This time I had to replace a very old ancestor compression fitting that was hiding another leak, after the kitchen sink tee to the washer tee. And conveniently right above a ceiling fan. Yeah, a ceiling fan in a kitchen. Thanks sharkbite, saved me 700$
