Broke in the first 30 minutes.

Better than OEM

It was easy to install on my trimmer & worked wonderfully, much easier to switch out small bits that using the tap feed that comes OEM on trimmers

Perfect replacement for bump head

Pretty straight forward installation and works well. No more having to respond the bump head.

GREAT CORD HEAD

I bought their original quad head device, it lasted through 9 years of ABSOLUTE ABUSE. This new tripple head design lasted nearly 8 years of a little bit less abuse; the tripple head design is lighter and was designed to hold the larger cutting cords. All this considered, there is no better weed eater head made. If I get 5 years out if the next unit, I will be back to purchase the 4th. I will not use a weed eater without the Shakespeare multiple line head!!

Unorganized instructions

Watching the videos on how to install is bad. Very simple for each way to install have a list of supported trimmers so you don’t watch 4 videos and get confused. The sales person at Lowe’s sold us a trimmer and this head. Saying it was comparable. It was not when we watched the videos. Get a little bit more organized. As we now have to pack it up and take it back.

Make sure it fits your model

I wanted it, but it did not fit my trimmer. The package said that it works on trimmer. I called Shakespeare Co. , and I was told that was an error on there package. So I had to return it. I’m not happy that it didn’t fit.

Package states it works on Kobalt Trimmers

Not A Direct Fit For Kobalt 80v Trimmer. Hardware not in package to mount the head to the motor shaft.

all 3 string holders fell our

this is my second purchase. initial head lasted last year, but all three string holders fell out at the start of this year. I figured that they were only intended to last one year. purchased second one about two months ago. all 3 heads fell out today. I would not recommend this product for weekly home use yard care tht requires about 3 hours of trimmer time.

Does mTach Kobalt 80v

Although the package states the part fits on a Kobalt 80V weed trimmer, the included hardware doesn't have the M9x1.25 nut to mount it to a Kobalt 80V trimmer. None of the nut sizes are marked anywhere, so I'm not about to damage my trimmer by cleaning the threads.

Broke within two weeks

Broke within 2 weeks. Took it back to Lowe's and they wouldn't return it. Said it wasn't normal wear and tear. Of course it isn't. It is manufacturer issues. Jean said: "Then you need to contact the manufacturer. Called Shakespeare and it said to leave a message. Followed immediately by: "The inbox is full. Good bye!" How exactly does a company like Shakespeare not have 24/7 customer service at their customer service number?
