2nd times a charm

With the 50/50 reviews that this product has I figured it deserved a 2nd chance. Lowes is fantastic!! Refunded the 1st one that wouldn't start for nothing wo any issue. Ordered the 2nd the same day. It cranks wo any hesitation. The fuel was hanging and out of place though. Simple fix! Had it running in roughly 15 minutes. If the 1st doesn't work, then get another.

Small, Good for Homeowner

Pros: - Small and light. - Quiet (for having a gas motor right beside you). - Inexpensive Cons: - Small, grip feels a bit awkward - Motor casing where forearm/elbow rests gets hot quickly Observations: - Coming from a basic Craftsman 2-cycle I expected this to feel very heavy based on online research of 2 vs 4 cycle. Quite the opposite. The overall size is definitely smaller/shorter than my old trimmer and the hand position to hold the safety and trigger wasn't comfortable for me. Against safety...

Did not work

Never would start, manufacturer sent mew spark plug and still would not start. They are sending us a new one since first one was defective. I will update review after receiving new one.

Starts right up

So far so good, starts up on the 1st pull. Fairly quiet. Gas tank could be a little bigger.

Very good trimmer for the money.

Being 4 stroke it runs at a lower RPM making it quieter. No mixing gas and oil is nice.

Works great, not to heavy, came with everything you need to use it right out of the box

It works very well, must remember not to tip over too much or it starts to smoke from the exhaust

Dont do it

We purchased 2 of these. First one was dead in less then a days use. Second died about 3 days later. They get super hot and just cant keep up to a steady work load.

Happy so far

Loved the price for a 4 stroke weedeater. It is not the same quality as the Honda or Hasquevarna models that I have purchased in the past but it is 1/2 the price. I have used it several times now and I’ve been very happy with it. Time will tell regarding durability and I have not had to buy parts for it yet. So far so good. I did buy the extended warranty since I am not familiar with the brand.

It eventually starts. Sometimes quickly.

Like the performance after I can it to start. Have had problem to get it to start.

Very lightweight but I am not strong enough to start it

Buy some other brand of trimmer

I like that it is a 4 cycle engine. I don't like that it is EXTREMELY hard to start.
