Would RecommendThis is a cool system for screening in a porch. It's easy to install, goes up pretty quickly and looks great! It also makes repairing sections of screen easier. I screened in my back porch in a couple of days. The only "negative", if you want to call it that is that the 1.5" caps are much more finicky than the 3/5" ones. I have cats, so I used petscreen below the handrail, and standard screening above. The 3.5" caps snapped in tightly and have stayed in so far. The 1.5" caps are not as tolerant ...

Would Not RecommendI installed this system about 3 years ago. They look horrible. The color has faded to almost nothing and they are all warped and twisted. The Florida sun has taken its toll. I am replacing them with painted PT wood.

Would RecommendThis screen system is just what I needed. I remodeled my back porch and decided to give this a shot. It was easy to install and i was able to install it without help. I didn’t install it the traditional way by installing in on the face or outside, instead I installed it on the inside or the wide side of the studs. I like it better because I was able to install moulding strips on the face of the studs.

Would RecommendThis product is awesome. It was easy to install the pieces (base and cap). You may need a little more patience and trial and error with putting the screen and spline in place. Once you get a method going it isn’t hard. The screen tight tool is perfect for job.
