Ratings & Reviews for Scotch Extreme fastener 3 Inch Clear Hook loop fastener 10-lb Weight Capacity 2 -Pack

Extremely Strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Versatile product. Great for holding mirrors, metal signs, pictures and tarps. Works well in heat so great for using on the garage, workshop or in the car. Easily cut to fit any size needed.

Great alternative to nails and hangers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item from 3M to test, the first time I tried I only cut a one inch piece for both the wall and the item to attach to which in my case was a small fire extinguisher, when I awoke the next morning I had noticed that the fire extinguisher was on the floor, so I tried again and this time I cut both pices to three inches and that was five days ago and I have not had any problems since, I have removed it from the wall and replaced it ...

Wow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this item as a sample and it blew my mind away with how well it works. At first I wasn’t sure what I could use it on but shortly after that, my car got broken into and realized that my car’s sun visor was broken in the process. It no longer stayed up in place. I used less than an inch of this product. (About half an inch on both ends) and it held the visor in place without a single problem. It definitely is strong and it was absolutel...

Unbelievably Strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I didn't know they made a product this strong and it came at a perfect time. The wood panel on the front of my cabinets in front of my kitchen sink had come off when a plastic piece broke. I was unable to find a replacement and found that the wood was too hard to drill through or hammer a nail through and I couldn't figure out how I was going to put this back up. It is also supposed to b...

Problem Solved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Extreme Fasteners. I have a very curious cat that loves to open the kitchen cabinet doors. My cabinets are old, so they're easy to open, but since I used the fasteners, the problem is now solved, much to her dismay. I will definitely buy these, and recommend them to anyone.

Great Stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff really sticks. Better than velcro! Using in garage to hold up tools. Works great. I think I will find many other uses for this in the future. (I received a free sample for my unbiased review.)

Excellent Product Provides Grip When Velcro Fails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’m impressed with 3M’s Extreme Fastener. Although it is similar to traditional hook-and-loop fasteners (i.e., Velcro), it is superior in many respects and fills a much-needed role for many common situations. Although Velcro still has its place in the home and workshop, this product was made for the outdoors. Dirt and moisture are the greatest nemesis of hook-and-loop technology, as either will temporarily render the fastener ineffec...

A fastener for just about everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for fasteners for just about any use inside or outside, the Scotch Extreme Fasteners are what you need. We used them outside to hang up some heavy metal signs and they are awesome. The adhesive bonds very well to the surfaces and the amount of weight they can hold is superb. So far they have been resistant to the wet mornings and hot sun during the day. We've found additional uses for hanging up things inside the house as wel...

Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a problem with a rug sticking to a step for the dogs doggy door.. Everything came loose.. This sticks great! No more problems and I can still take off and wash it! Didn't put in the dryer but it held up well threw the wash! Great Product!

Great Gripping Strength

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a teacher and used this to secure things to the wall in my classroom. We live in a very humid climate and I cannot get anything to stay on the painted cement block wall. I used this so I can change out my posters for the seasons.

Many uses and very innovative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received and was asked to review this product as part of a promotional program. I always use wall hooks and fasteners all the time to hang jewelry, belts, scarves and so much more. I found these fasteners to be very innovative. I was impressed on how much weight they could hold. I used these to successfully hang an 8 x 10 frame on my daughter's bedroom wall.

Holds Up Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free to try and give my opinion on. It holds up well! This is not like Velcro. The 2 sides snap together to form a strong bond. It's simple to use. Cut them to the desired length, snap them together, remove the paper backing, attach one side to the item and press for 30 seconds to form a bond and then remove the second paper backing and press it in place and hold for 30 seconds to form a bond. It states that 1" of tape wil...

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These fasteners definitely work so well that I will buy them again.

Very strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a free sample of this to try. I expected heavy duty velcro, but it isn't like velcro at all. It does snap together but you have to get it lined up exactly right. Unlike velcro if it is at an angle or not exactly straight it won't snap together. On the other hand, once it snaps together it has an extremely strong hold and works in outdoor conditions including wet conditions.

Great strength the way both sides attach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the sample for testing. I really like that it does not use the fuzzy side that other products use. Makes it stronger when fastening and less likely to wear down. Great to use in garage. The only thing I think could be better is the adhesive side. When i went to pull up portable curb it was the adhesive that came loose. I added a liquid adhesive to reinforce stick-em.

Extremely Secure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M. Unlike other fasteners I’ve used before, these fasteners use an intricate system of interlocking connectors for an incredibly strong and secure bond. The fasteners are clear and unobtrusive, and incredibly, are resistant to moisture and dirt. This is an innovative product with a ton of uses.

works great !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] received this as a free sample to review - I used to put up a shadow box with some family memories in it - it is very solid and the fasteners did the job perfectly - easy to use

3M to the rescue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. Found a great use, had a plant on a shelf in windy Nebraska, used Extreme Fasteners and the plant has stayed put, even had a big windy storm.

Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect! I was able to hang a 4 foot picture without any help or damage to my wall. Now I’ll be more prone to hang holiday wall decorations since I don’t need help and they can easily be removed and exchanged for the next holiday. Thank you 3M!

The Best
