This is likely the worst double-sided tape I have ever encountered. - the backing is difficult to remove, although not impossible - it has failed in almost every situation I've used it - being plastic-plastic and plastic-metal. It has only worked for plastic-glass. In all cases I was only holding up less than 100 grams and used 3cm to 10cm of tape, so well above the required tape length.

Would RecommendTape that definitely has a substantial hold. I wouldn't tape a present with this type of tape unless you want to see the person fight the extreme hold if this tape to open it. Overall very sticky....extremely so.
