Ratings & Reviews for Scotch 2 -Pack 1.88-in x 54.6-yd Long Lasting

Good for shipping boxes

Steaming pile

I really enjoyed how the price is double of the other brands. The best part is the fact it dosent stick to cardboard. And woe to you if it happens to overlap itself, it actually repels itself so you have those awesome little sticky tabs flapping around. This stuff is clear, ya cant claim it isn't clear. It is also clearly garbage. A frustrating, expensive, pile of clear garbage. Use the off brand dollar store tape. I gave the 2 -1/2rolls i had left, of a 3 roll bunch to my mother I law. And you ...

Moving tape

Used it for moving and so far has worked well and fit on our tape dispenser

The HEAVY DUTY worked great!

I packed up my entire house with used cardboard boxes and everything was packed for 3-4 years in PODS (didn't know the new house would take so long), using the Scotch Shipping Packaging Tape HEAVY DUTY and everything was still sealed up, necessitating a utility knife to get into them.

Trash product now

Just purchased this product for moving out of state and every box is going to need redone as the tape is just letting loose on all the boxes it's on. No time for this as we are loading the haul tomorrow which is going to suck retyping 60+ boxes while moving them.

Not a great experience

The tape breaks off into pieces before you can get it off the roll. I ended up using a razor blade to get off what I needed wasting half the roll in the process. At that point I really didn't care because I just wanted the experience to be over. As many others have stated already, not a great product. We as consumers are at fault for not doing our research before hand. We simply need to wake up, get smarter, and quit wasting our money on things that do not work.

Doesn't stick

Tape doesn't stick. Pretty useless. Scotch tape used to be great.

Poor Performance

I bought this tape to box p all my worldly possessions for a move to another city, some things were going into storage. What a pain! The tape kept shredding trying to get it of the roll and on to the boxes. I had to keep picking at the roll to get a complete width of tape. so frustrating when you are already stressed . Grrrrr.

So DONE with Scotch Storage Tape

I give up. I'm throwing away the most recent roll of packaging tape from Scotch. It shreds when you try to peel it off the roll. Takes me 10 minutes to get it to a solid piece and then it shreds again. There must be a better brand. So unhappy.

Great tape that holds for years

This tape holds fast for years and years. It's the only kind I use now because you never know how long something you tape may sit in storage. It is way strong enough to use for mailing packages, despite the claims of some shipping tapes being 20x stronger. I've seen some tape that seems to dry out after a few years, loosing all adhesion and becoming completely unstuck. Yes, some tapes are very strong initially, but over time, this Storage tape keeps working. Many people have noted that ...

Strong, Reliable Tape from Scotch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is reliable and easy to distribute from the helpful handle. The stickiness of the product makes securing boxing reliable. It also sticks well to other materials as I've used this tape to stick things to walls, floors, patio furniture. Overall, this product is exactly what you'd expect from this brand.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use great for packing or mailing items or even quick fixes around the house

Love this dispenser!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always struggle with packing tape dispensers. This is easy to operate and change out empty rolls.

Strong and Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dispenses so easily. It’s an extra strong tape that I find great for hanging decorations.

Multipurpose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this tape for storage of boxed things in a not so dry area to keep moisture and insects out. I use it to protect and secure labels on my essential oil bottles. I also use it to lift fingerprints. It's so versatile.

Very strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Long Lasting Storage Packing Tape with Dispenser to Test and Review. This packaging tape has a really strong hold on boxes that will last a very long time. I like that the dispenser is included with the tape.

Great Tape!
