Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked the removable knobs for ease of screw install/being able to avoid marring the finish. The effort for turning the knob is heavy enough to feel secure, and turns smooth. Classic looking design and a really nice matte black finish. Would buy again

One good thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a locksmith for over 50 years I've seen Schlage's many products. I bought an F51 csv entry knobset which fit the strict criteria needed. That's the good thing. I needed to key it to other locks and worked on these before and every time I wonder why Schlage doesn't eliminate their "exploding" cylinders. Gone are the days of Schlage's beautiful brass cylinders in their cheaper models. How much did they actually save switching over to these...

Smooth turning knob, but will need to get used to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is clean and works smoothly at first installation. The color matches well with our existing lock. One feature we have to get used to is that the knob still turns from the inside when it's locked. This makes it confusing to tell if it's locked very securely. It also unlocks automatically when turned from the inside. Just something to get used to, since our old knob didn't do that.

Broke immediately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install but I dropped it and it broke. The part you turn to lock it by hand. Pretty flimsy if you ask me. Took it back to the store and got a new one. Installed OK.

Great Door Knob w/Key Lock

It has a great feature that the door knob unlocks when you turn the knob on the inside. That way when you leave and have a WiFi enabled deadbolt you don’t have to worry about locking yourself out.
