Ratings & Reviews for Schlage Single Cylinder Satin Brass Double Cylinder Deadbolt

New Deadbolt!

Needed a new deadbolt for a side door and this fit the bill terrifically! Installation was relatively easy for a 75 year old single lady! Had to chisel out some of the side of the door to fit the bolt in, but it was simple enough.

Easy replacement deadbolt

We bought a new home and had to change the lock. It was easy to replace the old lock with this new one, and it works fine.

Good lock

I’ve used Schlage locks many times over the years for various projects. The locks are just fine. The only trouble I’ve had with “any” lock has been with the seller ( in this case Lowe’s ). So in short, lock is great, Lowe’s service not so much. I prefer to have a Schlage lock container with a factory sealed box. Then you know the contents have not been tampered with. So keep this in mind when buying.

Easy alignment TJJ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was much easier to install than some other deadbolts I have installed. I did not have to hunt for the 2 mounting studs. They were long and aligned with the screw hole much easier than other deadbolts I have used.

It was easy to install! I only wish I had bought the set because now I have two keys to deal with. One for the deadbolt and one for the door knob

Lock set

I purchased this lock set to replace an existing lock that has failed. The manufacture has made improvements to the way it bolts together that made the install much easier. The new lock set operates smoothly. I highly recommend this product.

Good Value

Good value, excellent service, veterans discount

Easy install

I liked that it was very easy to install. I did not like that I could not find one with the same keying as the door knob I also bought

Quick and easy install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The deadbolt lock was pretty quick and easy to install and worked well in the mortice left by the old lock.

It was easy to install!

This is a great dead bolt lock and it has a nice finish. Very strong and sturdy to keep out those you need to.

Solid feel

Easy installation, works much better than the old deadbolt

Ease of I stallation

Easy straightforward design and installation. Worked perfectly right from the start. Considering Schlage products for my other doors.

Great product

Schlage is always my first choice. Nice looking and easy to install. I needed this lock keyed the same as my other locks. Lowes keyed this lock while I waited and it was free!! Thank you.
