Would RecommendThere's a good amount of variation in the slate pieces and in the glass. This is preferable, because too much consistency in a mosaic makes it easier to see the repetition and spot individual mosaic sheets on the wall. In other words, these pieces don't go up looking like sheets. They cut very easily and cleanly with a wet tile saw, providing that you buy a blade explicitly for glass. These glass blades run $20-40, but they are well worth the price. We didn't have any issues with grouting...
