Ratings & Reviews for Sashco Lexel 10.5-oz Kitchen and Bath Clear Paintable Solvent Caulk
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this caulk for exceptional sealing performance and durability across interior and exterior applications. Most highlight its ability to create long-lasting, watertight seals that resist cracking and yellowing for years, even in challenging conditions. Reviewers consistently note superior adhesion to nearly any surface—metal, glass, plastic, wood, and wet substrates—with the ability to fill quarter-inch gaps. Many appreciate its clear finish and paintability. While some find it thick and sticky, requiring gloves during application, the vast majority consider these qualities signs of reliability. A few report application difficulties, but these remain isolated concerns vastly outweighed by positive feedback.

Would RecommendLexel is absolutely perfect for sealing window leaks in RV’s. You can even use it if you have to in the pouring rain!
Cover window sill hole
Would RecommendNeeded to cover a little hole in the corner of a window sill that was outside. Great adhesive and clear color. Worked great
Great adhesive
Would RecommendOur contractor recommended this product to me for my product. They were using it to strengthen Azek joints and said it was the best product to use. I bought a small tube and used it for my project which was to glue a thin board as backing to stop the top board from 'bowing'. Did the job. Very pleased with product.
Sticky stuff
Sticks to everything, which is good and bad. If you are careful and only put it where you need it, it looks good. It is very clear and if it stays that way, it will continue to look good.
