Ratings & Reviews for SandLock 59-in x 59-in Green Square Plastic Sandbox

Love it!

This sandbox is exactly what we were looking for. Big enough for both of our toddlers to happily play at the same time, incredibly easy to put together, and great quality. Also, love the little seats. They are so convenient and even though you have to remove them to put the cover on, it takes literally seconds to take them off. My 3 year old is in charge of it and just puts them into the sand and we cover it. I have already recommended it to other friends!

solid with minor complaint

Today we picked up our Sandlock sandbox from Lowe's and assembled it. Very happy, except for one seat insert cracked after much effort pushing (upside-down as manual demonstrates) and trying to get it to "click in" place. It is minor, but am requesting replacement since I don't want peoples' behinds to get scraped and/or clothing to get caught on this split. Otherwise happy with purchase despite the pricetage: easy assembly and seems secure.

Wonderful sandbox!

This sandbox was a wonderful addition to our backyard! We have 2 kids with a third on the way andnour old one waa getting incredibly small fast. I was able to put the box together all by myself in about 30 minutes. My husband handled the sand and the kids have been obsessed with it since! We like that is green and blends into the back yard nicely. The cover is simple to take on and off too. My daughter actually has a larger version of this at her preschool so I know it will hold up well!

My son loves his new sandbox and is constantly asking to play in it. Easy to set up. We love it.

The king of sandboxes!

I did lots of research on sandboxes because I wanted one that will last a long time and have room for a lot of kiddos. It seemed all the plastic ones were small and shallow, and the only larger options were wood but I was worried the wood wouldn’t hold up. Enter Sandlock! The first thing I noticed when I opened the package is how durable all the materials are. Assembly was a breeze, you just interlock the corners and push some stakes into the ground and you’re done! It’s a great size, much more ...

very nice sandbox!

great sandbox. super sturdy looking. one issue is that the tarp "floor" for the sandbox is not affixed to the box, so sand easily gets under it and once that happens, it can mix with the ground below. The kids love it.

Easy to setup

This sandbox really does have some great things about it. I spent some time trying to level and flatten the ground, but that was probably the hardest part and honestly not all that necessary unless you have some really uneven parts. Putting together the sandbox itself was incredibly easy. It just stakes into the ground in 8 places, so bring your hammer. The cover is a nice touch and seems pretty secure against wind. I would agree with the review that said the weed block/ tarp on the bottom would...

Great Sandbox

It was super easy to put together and seems really sturdy. Glad its made of plastic and not wood that will splinter. Nice to have the little beches to be able to be able to sit by the kids while they play.

Best Sandbox Ever!

When it came time to upgrade our 3 year olds sandbox we spent a fair amount of time researching our best options and landed on the Sandlock and we couldn't be happier! No need to worry about slivers or and eye sore that will weather and warp in the summer sun. Beautiful STURDY construction with an awesome cover that breathes. If you're on the fence like I was, I highly recommend you pull the trigger!!

Great Sandbox for Daycare

I really like this sandbox. It is made of a type of plastic that will withstand weather. It goes together and can be taken apart easily too. No splinters, no metal parts and no broken peices. Fast shipping. Would buy again.

So far so good

We have just put it together which was a breeze. Watershed ball offered as a free gift you have to complete a task for, should have been an option with purchase so we didn't have to wait for it. Seats are sturdy, wish there were 4 seats instead of 2, but still seems durable and holds a lot of sand. My kids love it!

Perfect for my 3 year old he can't wait to dig all day with his trucks.

Taking the old sanbox out was harder than putting this one up. Seems well constructed and easy to put together. Instructions are clear.

Kids Love It

We purchased this for our preschool playground. It was very easy to put together and we appreciate that there is no wood to splinter. The kids are really enjoying it.

So happy with our new sandbox. Shipping was much faster than expected. The size is great and we are really impressed by the quality. Set up was quick and easy. The cover seems very durable. Love the added seats. Would definitely recommend!
